25 Years of Service, St. Ann Conference

The St. Ann Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul celebrated the 25th Anniversary of its Aggregation during the weekend of September 26–27, 2026, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, Florida. The anniversary provided a special opportunity to give thanks for 25 years of Vincentians living their faith through friendship, prayer, and service to neighbors in need.

Throughout the weekend, Vincentians gave a presentation at each Mass, sharing the mission and work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the many ways the St. Ann Conference serves individuals and families in our community.

Members also hosted an information table in the church narthex, where parishioners could learn more about the Conference, its ministries, and opportunities to become involved in serving our neighbors.

On Sunday, September 27, the celebration continued with a reception in the St. Ann Social Hall following the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Masses. Parishioners, Vincentians, and friends gathered in fellowship to commemorate this important milestone and the many people who have contributed to the Conference’s mission over the past quarter century.

Fr. Alfonso Cely, Pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church, offered his congratulations and gratitude to the Vincentians for their dedicated service. He also gave a special blessing to those who carry out the Conference’s mission of serving the poor.

For 25 years, the St. Ann Conference has sought to put the Gospel into action by reaching out personally to those experiencing hunger, financial hardship, loneliness, and other difficulties. The anniversary was not only a celebration of the past, but also a renewal of the Conference’s commitment to continue seeing the face of Christ in those we are privileged to serve.

We thank St. Ann Catholic Church, Fr. Alfonso Cely, our parishioners, Vincentians, volunteers, donors, and supporters who have made these 25 years of service possible.

May God bless the St. Ann Conference as we begin our next 25 years of Vincentian friendship, faith, and service.
